1st Annual Maui Music & Food Experience
September 5-7, 2024

Experience the Magic of Maui with exquisite food and acclaimed music as musicians from Maui and the mainland join together with prominent chefs to create an unforgettable Maui experience in remembrance and support of the recovery.
A weekend of music and food to raise money for food, housing and mental health resources for those impacted by  the Lahaina fires. Hosted by the Hua Momona Foundation of Lahaina and other non-profits to continue to provide Food, Housing and Mental Health Recovery resources. Hua Momona needs your help to sustain the 5,000 free hot meals provided every month.

THURSDAY, September 5th, 2024:

“Night at the Farm” at Hua Momona Farms, a limited capacity engagement to thank our top patrons with an intimate gathering consisting of chef stations paired with world-class wines and music. Exclusive meet-and-greet with legendary musicians and the finalist celebrity chefs from the show Next Level Chef. 

FRIDAY, September 6th, 2024:

"Celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Maui", a concert format gala at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua Aloha Pavilion with celebrity chefs, a live auction including a commemorative guitar signed by the musicians, multiple music acts and more.  The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is the host resort for this event. SATURDAY, September 7th, 2024:

"Music at the MACC", guests will gather at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) for a one-of-a-kind outdoor concert in the courtyard followed by a special indoor concert. Your ticket provides access to both.  Platinum & Gold Packages include roundtrip transportation from the host resort to the MACC.

Event Musicians will play their own material and help honor the 1970 Hendrix concert on Maui as a centerpiece for the final concert. Innovative artists from different instruments and genres will perform their own songs and others to pay homage to Mr. Hendrix, who played on Maui in 1970. Some of those on board so far include Mick Fleetwood, Charlie Sexton, Howard Levy, Ivan Neville, Darryl Jones, Bernard Fowler, Ivan Julian, Wayne Baker Brooks, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Larry Beers, Derek Brand, Jose Rendon, Isaiah Sharkey, and original Band Of Gypsies member Billy Cox who played with Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock and Maui!  MANY more are in the works and will be included in future updates. Local artists include Jason Arcilla, Brian Santana, Marty Dread, Gretchen Rhodes, and returning to Maui for this event Paul West! VIEW MUSICIANS >

Celebrity Chefs will interact with participants at a series of food stations while serving food prepared by our gourmet commercial kitchen team to the instructions of each celebrity chef at the Night at the Farm.  Celebrity chef engagement includes meet and greet, influencing the menus, serving their creations at their own food station, and book signing/promotion at the Celebration at the Ritz Carlton. Numerous Maui chefs and all 3 finalists from Next Level Chef Season 3: Gabi Chappel, Christina Miros, and Zach Laidlaw along with Von Smith and Mada Abdelhamid. VIEW CHEFS >
The Hua Momona Foundation, a 501c3, was created by the team at Hua Momona Farms to benefit and serve the needs of their Maui community.  The Foundation’s mission is to support and grow the on-island charitable efforts through agriculture activities, direct donations of food products, providing hot meals at give-away locations, distributing fresh local produce from partner farms, facilitating acceleration of replacement housing, support for mental healthcare programs, and participation in fundraising events.
